Fahim Siddiqui 

 SVP of Technology Development, The Home Depot

Fahim and his team are focused on the Online, Marketing, Merchandising and Supply Chain functions. Their goal is to create and support technology platforms that provide an interconnected and seamless experience across the business for both customers and associates. 

Before joining The Home Depot in late 2018, Fahim sent more than three decades developing expertise in the retail, energy and telecom sectors. He served in technology leadership roles at Staples, Vidhyo, Intralinks, Serenity (founder), K2 Software, MCI, Time Warner and Sprint. Most recently, he was senior vice president - engineering, cloud & operations at Staples, where he was responsible for the commerce and digital platform and led the digital transformation across marketing, sales, merchandising, order management, supply chain and customer service systems. 

 

Fahim holds an executive MBA from Brown University, a master’s in computer science from the University of Missouri and a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University.

Vish Narendra

SVP and CIO, Graphic Packaging International

Vish Narendra has been the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Graphic Packaging International since 2015. Vish is an award-winning global Information Management Executive, developing and executing successful technology and business strategies. Prior to Graphic Packaging, Vish spent 14 years at General Electric Company and served most recently as CIO for the Alstom integration for the GE Power & Water business. He worked for Idea Integration and System Software Associates prior to joining GE. Vish holds an undergraduate degree from Anna University, College of Engineering, Chennai, India in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and an MBA from the Stuart School of Business, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago.

Sridhar Penumetcha

Account Partner, IBM Services 

Sridhar is the Account Partner for IBM Services’ Elite Accounts. Prior to this role, he was the Go TO Market Leader for IBM’s telecommunications clients in North America. He has held several leadership roles in sales and business development prior to joining IBM. Sridhar has had abundant experience in developing and managing programs across IT, Networks, Infrastructure, Mobility and Business Process Outsourcing services.

Dr. Rubina F. Malik is a strategic advisor and a thought leader skilled at helping organizations looking for guidance on how best to engage, develop, retain, and promote the right candidates to move into top leadership roles.

She is also a scholar with a professional background in human resources, training and professional development, coupled with ten years of research, coaching and teaching experience.

 

She worked as an Assistant Professor in the business department at Morehouse College, and her work has been published in the Harvard Business Review and other management journals.

 

As a strategic advisor to companies from start-ups to Fortune 100 global brands, she has developed an innovative, customizable model that prepares and positions leaders for success. After implementing her strategies, clients discover that they have a diverse pool of future leaders in place ready to perform at the highest level to support the organization’s position in the market place.

Sue Ann Hong

Executive Director, The Center for Asian Pacific American Women

Sue Ann is the Executive Director of the Center for Asian Pacific American Women. She worked at State Farm Insurance Companies for over 28 years in Data Processing, Diversity & Inclusion, Corporate and Auto Claims, where she led up to 600 leaders and employees in supporting customers in 23 states. Her passion for building trusting relationships infuses Sue Ann’s philosophy. A 2002 APAWLI National Fellow, she continues her journey as a whole person leader in her believe it’s the journey versus the destination. Her goal is to support CAPAW’s vision to build whole person leaders, one at a time.

Mie Igarashi

Retired KPMG Partner; Founding President of Ascend Greater Atlanta

Mie recently retired from KPMG’s Tax Practice. At KPMG, she was a Tax partner in the Federal Tax practice of the Atlanta office and served as Tax Leader of the U.S. Japanese Practice and a Market Leader for the Japanese Practice in the Southeast area. Mie joined the KPMG Atlanta office in 1989 and was admitted to the partnership in 1998. Mie has significant experience with the tax issues of Japanese-owned manufacturers and distributors with multistate operations.

Mie is also the founder and first president of the Ascend Greater Atlanta Chapter. She currently sits on the Executive Advisory Board of the Atlanta Chapter and provides strategic insights to the chapter’s programming and operations.

Congjia Jia (Moderator)

Senior Associate, KPMG

Congjia is a senior associate in KPMG’s Atlanta Business Tax Services. She joined the firm in October 2017 after internship with firm in 2016 summer. She helps with tax compliance, planning and provisions for public and privately held clients. Congjia is responsible for a broad range of US and foreign-owned corporations and partnerships with complex tax matters relating to her clients’ businesses. Congjia’s current and past clients include leaders in healthcare, hospitality, automotive and financial services industries and has involved in analyzing many partnership tax transactions and providing tax structuring advices due to the impacts of TCJA.

Congjia has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from University of Alabama and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from University of Alabama.
